We are never more like Jesus than when we serve. Volunteering through a Serve Team provides us with an environment to use our unique gifts, skills and expertise to strengthen our church and to serve our city.

SUNDAY TEAMS

DESCRIPTION: Our Strike Team is responsible for the set up & tear down of our entire space. As a mobile church plant, the Strike Team is absolutely vital to our Sunday gatherings. This team’s early mornings and late afternoons set the scene for our entire gathering.

BEST FIT IT: You’re thinking “I can help wherever is needed!” and enjoy being a helping hand.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED: None, but expect some heavy lifting with setting up and tearing down our equipment.
TIME COMMITMENT: Before & after our Sunday gatherings.
7-8a & 11:15a-12:15p

DESCRIPTION: Our Worship Team is responsible for leading our church body in worship each Sunday. They help lead our church in engaging both our hearts and minds in worship.
BEST FIT IT: You have musical gifts & abilities.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED: Instrumental and/or vocal experience. An audition is required.
TIME COMMITMENT: Before & during Sunday gatherings.
7-11:15a

DESCRIPTION: Our Production Team is responsible for the inner workings of our sound, video & lighting equipment. They help ensure our Sunday gatherings are pulled off without a hitch.

DESCRIPTION: Our Impressions Team is responsible for making our Sunday gatherings a friendly and inviting space. From the parking lot to our main gathering space, they help set the tone each Sunday.

BEST FIT IT: You’re extroverted; you’re thinking “I can help wherever is needed!” and you’re good at welcoming others and/or making spaces feel comfortable.

DESCRIPTION: Our Embassy Kids, or “EKids”, Team is responsible for providing a safe, clean & fun space for our kids to encounter the love of Jesus. This frees up parents to engage in worship and gives volunteers the opportunity to have fun with the most joyful bunch of people at Embassy.
Set up & tear down of EKids classrooms
Cares for kids ranging from babies, crawlers, walkers, toddlers, Pre-K and Kindergarteners
Ensuring our EKids space is safe, clean and fun
BEST FIT IT: You like being around kids & want to give parents a break.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED: None, but childcare experience recommended.
All volunteers must clear a provided background check to serve on this team.

DESCRIPTION: Our Media Team is responsible for capturing the big and small moments of our church. Their creativity helps gather the story of Embassy.
Capturing photo and/or video content during our gatherings
Optional: assisting with social media content
BEST FIT IT: You’re interested in photo, video, design and/or social media.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED: Photo and/or video experience
TIME COMMITMENT: Before, during & after Sunday gatherings
Sundays from 9a-11:30a
Champion Events: Salt Kickoff, Easter, Christmas, etc.

DESCRIPTION: The Security Team is vital to our church as we move into a larger building. They are responsible for walking the building and monitoring all of our spaces, including EKids.
BEST FIT IT: You are observant; you are eager to provide a safe & secure space; you care about protecting the vulnerable.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED: None
All volunteers must clear a provided background check to serve on this team.
